This Ministry Overview portrays
in an informal manner my personal philosophy of what I term, "Practical Ministry." I have learned over the years that
we must be "Gate Openers, NOT Gate Keepers"* and in doing so we become facilitators for ministry to be accomplished.
This can be especially effective as relationships are built with others for the sole purpose of reaching people for Christ
and helping them to grow in the Faith.
I believe that God has a purpose and
time frame for ministry within a Church. At some point this requires a new ministry and partnership with yet another Church
body of God’s choosing. I can’t help but think of the song I learned as a child, "...make new friends
but keep the old, one is silver and the others gold." So be it!
