What do we Believe?
Our reliance on the Bible for faith and practice-
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our sole authority for faith
and practice. Our doctrine, structure and practices can be summed up by the
statement, "No Creed But Christ, No Book But The Bible", used by many Christian
Churches.
We believe in God-
The Bible teaches that God is Creator of our world and Sustainer and Lord of our lives.
We believe in Jesus-
Jesus Christ is, "The Christ, the Son of the living God". He is our Savior and only
through Him is eternal life given so that all who have faith in Him have the hope of
eternal life through his death, burial and resurrection.
We believe in the Holy Spirit-
The Holy Spirit, as part of the Trinity encourages, guides and transforms us to walk in
ways of the Lord.
We believe in Baptism by immersion-
We practice baptism by immersion of those individuals who have come to Christ after
they have accepted Christ as their Savior. It is the outward expression of our faith in Jesus.
We Believe and practice Communion-
We share and celebrate in Communion each Sunday morning following the example of
the early New Testament Christians. In the sharing the bread and the fruit of the vine,
we remember what our Lord, through His death, has done for us, proclaiming that He is
our Lord and Savior and will come again.
We believe in prayer-
We believe in the value of prayer and as such we are a praying Church.
